Obsesi Terpanjang

The Twilight Saga betul-betul memberi kesan kepada saya la.. Saya tonton movie twilight tu di panggung wayang gambar sebanyak 2 kali. saya tonton DVD twilight tu berkali-kali, ulang, ulang, ulang dan ulang lagi. then saya kemaruk beli novel dier. walaupun dapat beli secara rongak-rongak pada mulanya, saya tabahkan hati. entah dengan willpower yang datang dari mana, saya berjaya beli keempat-empat novel tu, dan yang penting, saya berjaya menamatkan kesemuanya dalam tempoh seminggu flat! (kagum dengan diri sendiri nie, hins hins..). bukan setakat itu sahaja, setiap kali saya pegang novel-novel itu (contohnya saya pegang untuk pass pada fisha ke, pada yanie ke) saya pasti akan baca lagi satu round. kalau mereka lambat ambil, jawabnye berbelas-belas round la saya baca. betapa la saya hooked up dengan twilight tu. saya rasa saya boleh hafal frasa-frasa romantik si edward cullen tu. huhu. inilah satu-satunya movie yang membuatkan saya rasa ralat saya takde pakwe. (but then again, kalau pun saya ada pakwe, dan dier tak seromantik edward cullen, mungkin saya akan rasa ralat bercouple dengan dier ohoho.. blessing in disguise katernye..).

termimpikan edward cullen? ohhh.. tidaklah sampai begitu sekali. tapi, kalau nak kata setiap saat berangan ada partner macam beliau, memang betul, setiap saat saya berangan. sampai tak boleh buat keje la. tak boleh nak fokus. saya rasa, inilah tempoh terpanjang saya obses dengan sesebuah movie atau buku. saya banyak jugak baca novel nicholas spark dan judith mcnaught (boleh kata semua dah baca la), dan mereka nie pun penulis novel romantik yang hardcore jugak, tapi takde la saya bagai nak rak jatuh chenta pada Zack Benedict ke, Royce Westmoreland ke, Ramon Galvera ke, ataupun Matthew Farrell. Tapi dengan edward cullen, ishk, i simply can’t resist. macam terkena sumpahan pulak. sumpahan chenta edward cullen. ishk.. ishk..

sampai sekarang pun, obsesi itu belum berakhir. jumpa je internet, pasti saya akan surf pasal twilight. tengok video-video di youtube, cari gambar edward & bella (banyak pose romantik tu), cari soundtrack, baca buku baru stephenie meyer secara online. tuan-tuan dan puan-puan tahu tak, ada buku baru tulisan stephenie meyer nie, tajuknye midnight sun. ia adalah kisah twilight, tapi diceritakan semula dari perspektif edward. (twilight, new moon dan eclipse diceritakan dari perspektif bella, manakala breaking dawn dari perspektif both bella dan jacob). tapi ini dari perspektif edward pulak. ayat-ayatnya sama, tetapi edward’s struggling tu diceritakan dengan lebih detail la sebab edward yang bercerita. saya harap dier sambung la tulis new moon, eclipse dan breaking dawn pulak dari perspektif edward pulak. saya akan jadi orang pertama yang beratur nak beli hoho. (saya jumpa partial draft midnight sun di internet, lalu saya download dan save – tak tahu la halal ke tak draft tu, tapi, lantak la – lepas tu saya baca. sesungguhnya, edward, lebih kemaruk dari bella! asyik tergelak je saya baca!)

p.s : saya dah potong rambut. cachah kata macam cina haha.. dah la mata sepet. elok la sangat.

p.s.s : tadi dengar lagu Boyzone, tajuknye Better. Kepada yang berkasih/ bersuami/ beristeri, renung-renungkanlah lirik lagu ini. sangat menyentuh jiwa. sangat bermakna. sangat .. edward .. owhh.. kalaulah..

Twilight – New Moon – Eclipse – Breaking Dawn

I love the movie twilight very much. Mt reason for loving it are the the same as every other girls, because Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattison) was just so handsome and cool!!! i’ve liked Robert Pattison since he became Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter, but now i love him more. Anyway, i also love it because the phrases used in the movie were just so romantic. Romantic word, said by a handsome, sexy man with those intense gaze – i’d be a vampire’s girlfriend anytime babeh!

the funny thing is, i don’t know that the movie was an adaptation from a book entitled “twilight” by Stephenie Meyer. i just knew about it afterwards. It was a series of four books – the twilight saga they call it – twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn. but it still doesn’t compel me to read the book until i see MPH stockpiling the sequel of the book, called “new moon” in their store. i was curious, was it really that good that bookstores stock them up that many? so, i bought the “new moon”, disappointed  a bit, because “twilight” was sold out. and boy, was that book excellent!

while reading new moon, i only have one comment : “they have been casting the right people for twilight”.  i haven’t read twilight, yet when i tried to match each character with what i read in new moon, none of them seem awkward. and the book, well, just like the movie, was downright romantic. i had trouble falling asleep because it was so engrossing, and sometimes, i read the same lines like 7,8 times because the words sounded so good, and when i imagine Robert Pattison as edward says them, it was even better. Man, those eyes, those intense gaze, i totally melted. Imagine, Edward Cullen says this :

“Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars – point of light and reason..And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black.Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.” – New Moon, Stephenie Meyer.

Boy, i wish i am Bella.

The series was sold out here in KL. i went to Kinokuniya this afternoon, and only new moon was available, as well as the fourth book in the series, called “breaking dawn” ( i think that was like the last or maybe the last 2,3  copies). Twilight and eclipse were sold-out. I called Borders to check for any available stock, but they were also sold – out. Wow, everybody buys it when i want to buy it. Cet…

Anyway people, kepada yang suka buku romantic dan jiwang, boleh baca buku ini. memang best. kepada yang tak suka, forget it. mesti korang rasa membosankan.

p.s Malam nie nak mimpi edward lagi. fufufu..
